Loblolly Pine Restoration Planting
Seventy five loblolly pines from the Tree Pittsburgh nursery found new homes in Schenley Park along Overlook Drive Monday, April 29. Many trees in the historic grove of existing evergreen trees, mainly Scotch pines, have either begun to senesce or have already died and been cut down.
Western Tree Climbing Competition
Saturday May 4th, 25 of the region’s best male and female arborists will apply safety and science where others try daring and luck - in the tree tops of North Park.
